Frequently asked questions
What ages do you work with?
I typically work with teens, young adults, and older adults!
Is there anyone you don’t work with?
Yes. I am currently not taking any new clients with severe substance use issues, recent suicide attempts (within the past 6 months), active suicidal/self-injurious/homicidal plans and intentions, and/or patients with active eating disorders. This is because intervening in crisis situations over virtual sessions is not ideal. If you are a patient who struggles with any of these issues, I’d be happy to direct you to treatment that can better meet your needs!
Do you take insurance?
I do! You can find the list of insurances I am in-network with here. Although I may be in-network with your insurance provider, I may not be in-network with your specific insurance plan. I’ll be able to verify your insurance before we start treatment and let you know of any copays!
Do you accept payment out-of-pocket?
I do! Please contact me for more info on my rates!
How do you process payments?
I use the online therapy platforms, Headway and Alma. Copays, cancellation fees, therapy fees, and any reimbursements will be processed through the platform itself. They are very secure and very safe!
Do you offer in-person sessions?
Not at this time. I only hold sessions virtually at this time.
